DANBURY, CT - Yufang Lin, MD, Western Connecticut Medical Group integrative medicine physician specialist, will present “Anxious Children-An Integrative Medicine Approach,” on Wednesday, April 19 at 7 pm at the Riverbook Regional YMCA, 404 Danbury Road in Wilton. The presentation includes discussion on common types of anxiety in children and common triggers and proactive interventions to support a child’s health and well-being through modifiable lifestyle factors such as diet, sleep exercise, supplements, herbs and more. The First Rallye For Pancreatic Cancer, an exciting new car show to kick off the 2017 season featuring a collection of unique automobiles, will take place on April 23 (Rain Date: May 7) from 9 am to 3 pm at Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk. In addition to a collection of Imports, Customs and Classics, the Rallye For Pancreatic Cancer was created to bring awareness for one of the deadliest cancers that has no early detection and diagnosis.
Proceeds from the Rallye For Pancreatic Cancer will support a landmark, three-year pancreatic cancer research study at Western Connecticut Health Network led by Richard C. Frank, MD, a hematologist/oncologist and the Director of Clinical Cancer Research at Norwalk Hospital’s Whittingham Cancer Center and the WCHN Biomedical Research Institute in Danbury.
