Cornerstone Community Church Announces 17th Annual Community Thanksgiving Luncheon for Norwalk Citizens

NORWALK, CT - Cornerstone Community Church is excited to announce that it will host the 17th Annual Community Thanksgiving Luncheon. The Luncheon will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 12p to 2p at Cornerstone Community Church (718 West Avenue, directly across the street from the main library). The Luncheon will be preceded by worship service beginning at 10a and arts and entertainment, including children's activities, will go on throughout the day. All are welcome to share in this Thanksgiving celebration.
“There are many families and individuals in the city of Norwalk who depend on us for this meal and look forward to the camaraderie that comes with such a special event,” explains Rev. Ronell Howard, who copastors Cornerstone Community Church along with Rev. R. Randy Day. “We anticipate 200 to 300 guests and we appreciate anyone who is available to join us in bringing this Thanksgiving Luncheon to the community.”
The Community Thanksgiving Luncheon is made possible through the generosity of Cornerstone Community Church, caring individuals, and other local businesses and organizations. At this time, they are looking for volunteers for the following dates and times:
• Sat, Nov 19, 10a to 12p: Volunteers to set up, decorate, and prepare food
• Sun, Nov 20, 10a to 4p: Volunteers to serve, greet and direct guests, and break down the event
