Norwalk, CT - The SoNo and Wall Street areas of Norwalk offer plenty of holiday shopping and entertainment, and this holiday season, shoppers and foodies will get an added bonus – savings on parking. From December 8 – January 1, the Norwalk Parking Authority is offering a holiday discount of $2 off their parking session at any on-street parking meter or lot pay station when using a mobile app to pay for parking. To get the discount, when paying with the Parkmobile app, people should use the promo code NWHOLIDAY17. The offer is valid for a one-time use only.
“We are offering this holiday discount to encourage people to take advantage of all that Norwalk’s downtown districts offer in terms of shopping, dining and entertainment – and this holiday season, they’ll have a little more spending money,” says Norwalk Parking Authority Chairman Dick Brescia. “Using the Parkmobile app is easy to use and convenient and we encourage our customers to use it and save.”
The free smart phone app by Parkmobile USA, Inc. saves time and provides a seamless parking experience when paying for parking at any Norwalk Parking Authority meter or pay station. The Parkmobile app even notifies users 15 minutes before their parking time is ending, allowing them to increase their time remotely without running back to their vehicles. Parkers can download the app via most smart phone app stores or at www.parkmobile.com.
