Rui Correia
Talented young chef, Rui Correia, of Duoro in Greenwich, will offer his premiere class at The Clarke Culinary Center in South Norwalk on Wednesday, May 25th. Chef Correia joins Clarke's roster of wonderful guest instructors with a fun and delicious tapas-style class called, "A Taste of Portugal." He will feature some great Portuguese hors d'oeuvres, perfect for the Memorial Day weekend and the summer months to follow.

"This is your chance to watch one of the region's hottest chefs in action," said Sean Clarke, general manager of New England's exclusive distributor of Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, as well as The Clarke Culinary Center and Clarke Customer Care. "We are thrilled to have Chef Rui with us. He already has a fabulous reputation in Fairfield County and he knows a great deal about wines, which he will share at his class."

Due to his representation of such an unfamiliar cuisine, he has been recognized in Westchester Magazine's "Best of" Issue for his roast chicken, for three consecutive years. He has also been seen in Greenwich Magazine's "Best of Gold Coast" issue as Best New Restaurant, and received a 'worth it' from Patricia Brooks of The New York Times. Chef Rui also demonstrates his Portuguese food regularly on the TODAY Show.

During "A Taste of Portugal," guests will also sample various Portuguese wines including Chef Rui's house made sangria.
