Meigas celebrates Meigas on Halloween

The witches of Galicia (Meigas) will be celebrated at a Halloween Party on October 31st, Halloween! The restaurant, named after the classic sorceress will host an evening of great food, wine, music and spooks. Costumes are optional.

The evening will start with cava, (Spanish sparkling wine) and all new Tapas including: Crispy Galician Empanadas; Beer Batter Shrimp on Skewers; and Meatballs Stuffed with Foie Gras. All invented from the traditional by owner Carlos Hernandez and a new chef., soon to be honored.

Dinner entrees will feature Red Snapper, Stuffed Quail, Stuffed Zucchini, and, Meigas’ signature Roast Suckling Pig . All will be accompanied by appropriate Spanish wines and followed by dessert and coffee. Prix fixed, the evening will cost $65.

Little is known definitively about Meigas. They can be incredibly beautiful or horribly ugly. The one sure thing about Meigas is that they are female and have supernatural powers.

At Meigas, seasonal specials change weekly as old favorites remain on the menu. The new fall menu includes many tapas, dinner and brunch entrées. Meigas now offers a children’s menu with kids eating free at every meal in October and November. A three-course business lunch is quick and delicious at $18 and the Early Birds start flocking at 4:30 for a $19 Prix Fixed dinner. Holiday parties booked now receive 10% of total bill.
