Western Connecticut State University Students will be hosting “Guy Fawkes Day” as a symbolic event espousing the dangers of tyrannical government. This event will cover modern issues, undiscovered by most Americans, which remain outside mass media spotlight; such as Codex Alimentarius, the Patriot Act, and the Copenhagen Climate Treaty. This is a call to all students and citizens alike to wake up and realize that your Bill of Right is being stolen. Three independently run student organizations from different campuses around the state will take part: SCSU, WCSU, and Quinnipiac.
Connecticut's students for liberty will be holding this all-day event at WCSU in Danbury, starting with a speech by nationally recognized Dr. Gutzman (author of Politically Incorrect Guide to the Constitution, coauthor of Who Killed the Constitution) at 11:00AM. The day will include faculty and student speakers, live debates, and a movie screening. Students are taking the lead in pointing out the perils of our growing government, stolen civil liberties, and the death of the United States Constitution.
Guy Fawkes Day will be held this Thursday, November 5th, from 11:00AM to 6:00PM at Western Connecticut State University in Danbury (181 White Street). It will be hosted in the Midtown Student Center Theater, located on the ground floor, inside the front doors directly to the right. Participants can park in WestConn’s White Street garage, across the street from White Hall.
Help send a message to out-of-control government; this nation has no qualms about demanding back their rights. The Advocacy for Progressive Thinking (APT) is a non-profit organization promoting the preservation of civil liberties on college campuses around the state. This Connecticut-based group was founded and is run by college students, with a branch at WCSU and SCSU. All lovers of liberty are welcome. Citizens will not wait on President Obama to bring the change, they will assert it themselves.
