About MDA Summer Camp The MDA Summer Camp program was established in 1995. The Spring Valley, NY Sumer Camp plays host to 70 campers every year in a fully accessible, fully supervised environment that is free of charge to the families of children suffering from muscular dystrophy. Barriers are broken and lasting friendships are made. From playing basketball, baseball and soccer, swimming, fishing, canoe and horse riding, as well as crafts, cookouts and talent shows – MDA summer campers do it all!
