The Season’s Splendor
Mystic Seaport invites children and adults to celebrate the holiday season with a horse-drawn carriage ride through its decorated 19th-century streets with The Season’s Splendor: A Victorian Village Holiday Ride.

Beginning at 11 a.m. and departing from the Visitor Reception Center every half hour, the carriage rides will tour visitors through the Museum’s village and along the Mystic River. After the ride, visitors will step inside the historic Thomas Greenman house to make a holiday craft keepsake, enjoy a treat and catch a glimpse of a jolly elf.

Additionally, visitors can climb aboard tall ships, explore exhibit galleries, learn traditional sailors’ skills in the new interactive space Skills of the Sailor and enjoy a complimentary Planetarium show.

Tickets are $29 for adults, $20 for youth ages 6 -17 and $8 for children ages 2 - 5. Children 2 and under ride for free. Price includes Museum admission. Member tickets are $8 per person for ages 2 and up.
