The Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens, located at 151 Brookdale Road in Stamford, is holding a free creative lecture series in August and September coinciding with the recently opened Flower Power Art Show and Sculpture Fest 2012 Show. The series will be held in the new Silver Educational Center gallery/lecture room at the Bartlett with lectures to be given by the curator and artists participating. The third and final lecture of the series will be held on Sunday September 9 from 3:00-5:00pm. Artistic speakers will be master sculptor and adjunct professor of sculpture David Boyajian, award-winning sculptor Justin Perlman, and sculptor Derek Uhlman, who has exhibited at Smithsonian Institution, and is a member of the Copley Society of Art.
